Welcome to Mints and Mills!

 

I am a designer with a background in theatrical arts with an emphasis on sets and costumes.

 

I started Mints and Mills over three years ago but the idea lingered in my mind for a long time. Now, I am delighted

to call myself a  "Textile Animal Artist".

 

I love creating characters, and I truly enjoy the process from research to final creation.

After I search for concepts I start with a drawing to a Gouache painting, swatch for fabrics, and then... Voila!

(Of course including several mistakes and headaches,

but that's part of it ;)

 

Despite that fabrics are my passion, each and every material I work with brings its own personality to the design.
